All of Balance's staff are NYS Licensed Massage Therapists and hold advanced certifications in their areas of expertise.

Shiatsu
An ancient Japanese massage technique that is performed on a shiatsu floor mat while the client is dressed in loose comfortable clothing. Your therapist uses thumb, finger and palm pressure along the meridians (energy channels) and acupuncture points to unblock energy, relieve muscle tension, boost the immune system and stimulate energy flow.

Reflexology Massage
Your session begins with an aromatherapy foot soak and hand massage, followed by an invigorating exfoliating peppermint foot salt scrub on the feet. Your therapist places heated stones in your hands and will wrap your feet with hot aromatherapy towels before the foot massage begins. Acupressure and massage techniques are used to increase energy flow and promote relaxation.
